Pastor and Mrs. John Eidsmoe

John and Marlene Eidsmoe bring to the Woodland community a love for the Lord, a love for His Word, and a love for Woodland and its people, as well as a unique background. Besides his seminary training, John is also an attorney serving as Senior Counsel for the Foundation for Moral Law, where he daily defends the Constitution and our God-given religious liberties. A retired Air Force Judge Advocate and Mississippi State Guard Chaplain, he is an unabashed patriot who believes pastors and churches have a duty to speak out on the moral issues that confront America. A Professor of Constitutional Law and also of Christian Apologetics, he is equally at home in the classroom, in the pulpit, or across the coffee table.

A homeschool mom for 23 years, Marlene has taught art and other subjects for Montgomery Christian School and serves as Woodland’s pianist.

John and Marlene have been married since 1970 and have three children and three grandchildren.
